BDA brings together self-employed architects and urban planners who have distinguished themselves in their work, personal integrity and collegiality. They share a common interest in the building culture and the profession and are appointed by the regional offices. The 5,000 BDA members are among the leading architects in Germany. The track record of planning offices bearing the BDA seal speaks for itself: Every third Euro invested in construction in Germany involves a BDA architect.
